Stage I: Consultation
This first stage of our process is broken into two parts. First we begin by getting to know the client; we identify their goals and objectives by reviewing their income, assets, debt, insurance and expenses. Once a client’s situation is identified we next prepare to meet their needs.
Stage II: Suggestions
The second stage is to develop a comprehensive proposal that outlines a strategy to help the client meet their short and long term goals. These suggestions are specific to the client’s needs and objectives and show how it will help the client meet their goals.
Stage III: Implementation
In this stage the client puts our strategy into action. Based on the analysis developed and the financial strategies in the client’s accounts, assets are invested to address their goals and objectives.
Stage IV: Monitoring
This stage of our analysis process is ongoing as needed. On a consistent basis we review our client’s accounts. We take a pro-active stance in reviewing our client’s account to help address their goals and objectives.

Michael Mundo is an experienced and dedicated Financial Consultant.
He started his career in 1997 with Dean Witter in Hartford Connecticut, during a two year internship while attending Central Connecticut State College earning a B.S. in Business. He later accepted a position as a Financial Consultant with a firm that later merged with Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc. in 1998.
With Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc’s he was a Senior Financial Consultant with the Private Client Services division and had been with the firm since 1998. In Michael’s first year he was promoted to Vice President. Later, before moving to the Melville branch he was an Assistant Sales Manager in the New York City office, in charge of training new Financial Consultants.
Michael’s strengths consist of a comprehensive approach in wealth strategies, dealing with profiling his clients’ risk tolerance, and assisting them to strategically implement a tactical asset allocation. Michael is licensed to handle many aspects of your financial needs.
In January of 2009 he became securities licensed through Investacorp, Inc who is a fully owned subsidiary of Ladenburg Thalmann and& Co Inc.
He holds licenses for General Securities Representative (Series 7), General Securities Sales Supervisor (Series 9/10), General Securities Principal (Series 24), Uniform Securities State Agent (Series 63), Uniform Investment Advisor (Series 65) and Life Insurance. Having been involved in sports for most of his life has allowed Michael to learn the value of teamwork, which is now an integral part of each client relationship. Being involved and giving back to the community is of great importance to Michael. Currently he volunteers as a coach in the local youth wrestling program Member of the South Windsor Chamber. Michael grew up on Long Island, and currently lives with his wife Jennifer and daughter Angelina and son Anthony in South Windsor CT.
George Taub has been recruited by NPS Wealth Management and Insurance Services and will serve as Managing Director at NPS of Park Avenue. Mr. Taub has more than 14 years of experience in the financial services industry. He received his early training at Merrill Lynch and Smith Barney, moved to the Private Client Group at Chase and subsequently founded GBT Financial Group, a privately held financial services company. The firm’s area of experience revolves around clients from the civil service industry and the private sector with emphasis on retirement pension services and deferred compensation.
Mr. Taub is currently securities-licensed through Investacorp, Inc., a leading independent Broker-Dealer that takes great pride in serving the unique needs of financial professionals throughout the country. The partnership was formed to help increase the level of service and client relationship thought the vast experience provided by The NPS Group. Mr. Taub will continue to act as the sole owner of GBT Financial Group.
Mr. Taub's mission in the partnership with NPS Wealth Management is to provide resources to assist his clients with managing their financial future and to assure the continuous services of their accounts.

Prior to joining the financial community, Mr. Taub established a transport company which he grew from two to 275 employees and billings in the high eight figures in eleven years. The holding company was the host to four separate firms. As the Chief Operating Officer he was responsible for the long term financial welfare of his employees, including insurance and disposition of their retirement benefits. This experience has given him an intimate view of the issues facing the current workforce, as well as the retirement community.

Nicholas was born and raised in New York and later moved to Boston, MA where he earned a degree in Finance & Insurance from Northeastern University. Following graduation Nicholas worked as a mutual fund accountant at JP Morgan in Boston, MA. Nicholas was hand selected to join a start up venture at JP Morgan to work in their separately managed accounts division, an operational outsourcing team for some of the industry’s leading portfolio managers, as a senior account advisor for fee based advisory accounts.
He is securities and insurance licensed obtaining his General Securities Representative (Series 7), Uniform Securities State Agent (Series 6), Life, Health, Property and Casualty licenses.
In 2008, Nicholas founded The NPS Group LLC and Lighthouse Financial to offer clients insurance and investment services tailored to their specific needs.The NPS Group provides services in commercial, professional, life and group health insurance strategies for all size companies across many industries. By integrating insurance into a financial planning strategy you are better enabled to help the client address their goals.
In 2012, Nicholas expanded his companies and moved his family to Connecticut where he currently resides with his wife, Chelsy.
